Financial innovation moves faster than the rules meant to frame it. Rather than setting the two against each other, BAC proposes a supervised space where tokenisation, payments and new instruments can be tested under controlled conditions, with regulators involved from day one.
This axis rests on a documented reality: in May 2026 the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications confirmed by signed letter that the International Telecommunication Union is supporting the setup of an operational sandbox for government AI applications, under regulatory, ethical and security oversight.
