Celestia and modular blockchains

Taking a blockchain apart into separate functions, then reassembling it differently.

The track that challenges the other four's implicit assumption: that execution, settlement, consensus and data availability must live in one protocol.

It runs from the theoretical data-withholding problem through to a sovereign rollup deployed, operated and rebuilt by a third party from published data alone.

The most theoretical track at the start and the most radically practical at the end.

Deliver a rollup whose state rebuilds entirely from the availability layer, with no data handed over directly.
